Happy 1/2/12 (or 12/1/2, if you prefer) ~ it’s a celebration!
January 2, 2012
Today is January 2nd, 2012 1/2/12 (spelled 12/1/2 in some parts). As we all know, every strange looking configuration of the calendar must be celebrated, so here at the Abandoned Factory, we have dusted off the champagne glasses (haven’t been used in DAYS!) and are using this complete coincidence to overindulge in food and spirits, as well as playing music REAL LOUD.
Later in the day, we’ll be settling in to watch anime, I’m sure. Today is the first day of the Winter 2012 anime season, but some of us have started the celebration a little early, with a little something we saved from previous years. Ā :3
So … Happy 1/2/12 to all of you!

Keep having fun all year long. Or in your case, you should be studying. š

XDDD I should. Need to tone down my 48 fandomness. (Yeah as if that will ever happen. XD)

I do respect you for throwing yourself into what you love, however.

Or 2/1/12. š How a year flies by, eh! New seasons are always exciting, but so is marathoning older shows that one hasn’t seen before, perhaps, hmm…
Anyway, it’s been fun swapping comments with you over the past 12 months, Joojoo – here’s to more fun anime-ish moments ahead! ^ ^

Yeah. This one will be over before you know it. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it while it lasts!

1/2/12 – I thought it was just a normal day. I’m such a n00b.

Celebrate EVERY DAY!
Besides, think of it this way: The last time the calendar date was 1/2/12 was 100 years ago!

100 years ago? didn’t you mean 1000 years ago?
January 3, 2012 at 1:58 pm
Well, it happened then, too.
January 2, 2012 = 1/2/12
January 2, 1912 = 1/2/12
…
January 2, 1012 = 1/2/12
January 3, 2012 at 9:33 pm
But the last time the calendar date was 12/1/2 was just nine years ago! (December 1st, 2002)
Or perhaps ten, now.

Cool, I hadn’t thought of that. Anyway, I’ll plan to celebrate again on December 12th = 12/12/12
January 4, 2012 at 7:32 pm
And you won’t be able to do something like that ever again for eighty-eight years! (unless you count 1/3/13, etc.)
January 4, 2012 at 11:00 pm
I’m not planning on living another 88 years, so the number of celebrations is definitely running low.
