Blogging Milestone — 5,000!

Thanks, I couldn't have done it without all the little people.
My first major blogging milestone! 5,000 spam comments, and counting. Aah, it seems like just yesterday that I received that first comment, full of gibberish, with a link to some sort of dental supply website. Since then I can proudly say that spam robots around the world have sought out the Abandoned Factory Anime Review as the premiere site for “information like this”.
I want you all to know that I appreciate the support I get from everyone, including the spambots that regularly tell me they have been “looking so long for a site like this”. I’m here, and I ain’t goin’ nowhere.

This is the most unique and the coolest blogging milestone that I’ve read by far, I really like the idea.

Thanks! I do feel that blogging about anime helps me put my thoughts together about the experience, thus deepening my appreciation for the shows, so I’ll keep blogging, even if it is just me and the spambots.

It could be worse… My site has already accumulated 8,629 spam comments over the two and a half years of blogging thus far. This probably went up higher because I disabled Bad Behavior and it let in more spammers.
