SoreMachi 7 – crossing the gap

November 20, 2010

Hotori and Takeru Arashiyama fight back against the forces of the night.

Wow! Another hilarious episode of Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru. While the first half examined Hotori and Hiroyuki Sanada’s relationship, I’ll be focussing on the 2nd half, in which the discovery of a mysterious potion leads the Arashiyama siblings to an adventure in the city at night.

Sanada closes the gap, by following his love horoscope's advice.

Ghost sightings are not rare in Hotori's neighborhood.

Straight to your heart like cannonball.

I love the music they used for this scene, and am looking forward to a soundtrack release.

There was even a run in with the Law. Fortunately her sidekick, Takeru, is studying to become an attorney.

An old pro and her rookie assistant enter the house without making a sound.

From school skipping, to midnight ramen, this episode has it all. The art and music continue to be excellent, and the show is quite funny. At this point in the season, SoreMachi is the series I look forward to the most each week.

Probably that mysterious potion got lot of caffeine eh.
That slingshot scene also hilarious lol. They didn’t care if that “seed” will crack the window glass. Fortunately, Sanada’s head is harder than a glass, lol.

Someone posted a link to the real product. It is similar to Red Bull, so it has caffeine, taurine, and arginine.

Hotori probably doesn’t think things through enough to realize they would probably break the glass. 😉

Hotori is such an awesome older sister, surprisingly mature, but it makes you wonder how often she does these little night trips..lol
Everything about this episode was just sweet. I loved how she instinctively held out her hand for Sanada..

    =)

[well, thats it from me this year for this show. Will be marathoning the rest of it along with others shows in the new year. Travel+no laptop= no anime…
Anyways, have a safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New year…]
