SoreMachi 6 – monkey paw

November 14, 2010

Hotori visits an occult shop.

Every great television show has it’s monkey paw episode. Episode 6 is the Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru monkey paw episode. This episode also saw some development in the love triangle of Arashiyama / Sanada / Tatsuno.

What's inside the box?

In the first part, Tatsuno loses standing in the romantic triangle. This is due to the curse of the monkey’s paw, that grants wishes, but with unforseen side effects.

What's inside the box?

Tatsuno wished for love…

What's inside the box?

…but she didn’t get it.

In the second part, Tatsuno (aka Tattsuntsun)  fares better.

Tatsuno is admired by one of her fans.

Arashiyama is developing a website for the cafe. She’ll take whatever help she can get, and that includes an unexpected trip to Sanada’s house. With Arashiyama seemingly about to steal a march on Sanada, Tatsuno tags along. It doesn’t take long for Arashiyama to cause trouble.

Oooooh nooooo.....

Arashiyama is not impressed.

Probably already thinking about how to use this to her advantage.

Tatsuno convincing Arashiyama that Sanada is worthless.

With absolutely nothing accomplished, the girls head over to visit a sick friend. Of course any and everything can and does go wrong.

When they get back to the cafe, Arashiyama causes even greater misunderstanding, by telling Sanada’s father that his son has “lecherous tendencies”.

Not enough Kon senpai!..just kidding..!! Ha..
Felt kinda bad for her, having to put up with Hotori and then getting sick as well…but at least we know that she is one cool bass player.

Its funny how the three shop owners have become regulars of the cafe, despite the shabby treatment they receive..I guess they do love their maids after all…

    =)

Kon did get nicely developed in this episode. It was interesting to see her apartment while she was sick.

And can you blame them? What are they gonna do? Hang out at Sanada’s fish market? 😛
